رئيس البرلمان العربي يغادر إلى أذربيجان على رأس وفد برلماني للمشاركة في المؤتمر الأول للشبكة البرلمانية لحركة عدم الإنحياز

يغادر صاحب المعالي السيد عادل بن عبد الرحمن العسومي، رئيس البرلمان العربي على رأس وفد برلماني إلى جمهورية أذربيجان، وذلك للمشاركة في المؤتمر الأول للشبكة البرلمانية لحركة عدم الانحياز، المقرر عقده في العاصمة باكو خلال الفترة من 29 يونيو وحتى 2 يوليو 2022م.
ومن المقرر أن يلقي رئيس البرلمان العربي كلمة خلال هذا المؤتمر حول دور البرلمانات الوطنية في تعزيز السلام العالمي وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وسوف يعتمد المؤتمر النظام الأساسي للشبكة البرلمانية والشعار الخاص بها، وكذلك انتخابات رئاسة الشبكة ونواب الرئيس الثلاثة.
ويضم وفد البرلمان العربي معالي النائب الدكتور عبد الكريم القريشي نائب لجنة الشؤون الخارجية والسياسية والأمن القومي بالبرلمان العربي، ومعالي النائب شعلان عبد الجبار الكريم عضو البرلمان العربي.
وجدير بالذكر أن الاجتماع التأسيسي للشبكة البرلمانية لحركة عدم الانحياز عُقد في نوفمبر الماضي 2021 في العاصمة الإسبانية مدريد على هامش اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للاتحاد البرلماني الدولي، وشارك في هذا الاجتماع رئيس البرلمان العربي، وألقى كلمة أكَّد فيها على أهمية الدور المأمول من هذه الشبكة البرلمانية كذراع برلماني لحركة عدم الانحياز، ثاني أكبر تجمع بعد الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة.
*The President of the Arab Parliament departs for Azerbaijan at the head of a parliamentary delegation to participate in the First Confer-ence of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network*
The President of the Arab Parliament (AP) H.E. Mr. Adel Bin Ab-dulRahman AlAsoomi, departs at the head of a parliamentary delega-tion to the Republic of Azerbaijan, to participate in the first Confer-ence of the NAM Parliamentary Network which is scheduled to be held in Baku from 29 June 29 to 2 July 2022.
The President of the AP will address the Baku conference on the role of national parliaments in promoting global peace and sustainable devel-opment.
The Conference will adopt the Statute, approve the official logo and elect the Chairperson and three Vice-Chairperson of the NAM Parlia-mentary Network.
The delegation of the AP includes H.E. MP Dr. AbdelKrim Korichi, Deputy Chairman of the AP’s Committee on Foreign and Political Af-fairs and National Security and H.E. MP Shaalan AbdulJabbar Al-Karim, member of the AP.
It should be noted that the inaugural meeting of the NAM Parliamen-tary Network was held in November 2021 in the Spanish capital, Ma-drid, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in which the President of the AP participated and delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the hoped-for role of this Parliamentary Network as the parliamentary support of the Non-Aligned Movement, the second-largest gathering after the United Nations General Assembly.
